A warning to all the men out there - the
women of Goa have a new friend in town, someone they can rely on, someone who
they will love unconditionally. It's definitely an affair that will cost the
men dearly. After being deprived for years and painfully yearning for retail
therapy, the women in Goa will now rejoice at their first Mall.
The wait
is over...
God knows that in the months preceding its opening, we all looked longingly at the building under construction as we dined at its Fried Chicken outlet, just waiting for the moment of truth; and now finally, Caculo Mall has opened its pearly gates and unveiled its line-up of spanking new stores, in the heart of Panjim. And what do you expect form a public that has been deprived for so long? Yes we did throng the place and fight for parking space and nudge each other in the lift. But what the hell, the sheer joy of stepping into a mall with chrome gleaming back at you is something that can't be put down in words.

Thousands of sq.ft of pure shopping pleasure! The Mall is a complete shopping experience and has something for everyone. Chic household items and trendy clothes at Westside and at Bharne Creation, quirky designs in Global Desi, a well-stocked Broadway Bookstore and dazzling stones at Manek Gems, there is enough and more here to keep the women busy for hours. And then there is the Games Arcade to distract complaining husbands and boyfriends, the food court for lazy girly outings and last but not the least, the promise of yet more wonderful stores that will open soon gleaming with fresh merchandise just waiting to be picked up. The Mall has a good mix of local brands and stores that have a pan India presence.There are also 7D shows.

Caculo Mall is truly Goa's first mall and has set the bar high by introducing a lot of firsts like launching Goa's first Hyper Mart. The Magsons hyper mart is due to be inaugurated sometime early April and will cater to almost all your grocery requirements under one roof! From fresh produce to the best cuts in meat to a world class deli and lest we forget, Magsons will also be displaying quality products imported from all over the world. The food court at Caculo Mall is also a first in the State. With kiosks that serve varied cuisines like South Indian fare, Punjabi, Continental and Juices on the second floor, it is a pleasure to spend the afternoon here just looking out the window or simply lazing under an umbrella in the rooftop recreation area.
